WHY INFOSPHERE RESEARCH ASSOC.?
Embedded information technologies -- e.g., the Internet of Things, Cloud Storage, Big Data, AI, Quantum computing -- acting as a single, integrated system, are creating an all-embracing information environment. It is a complex adaptive system with emergent characteristics based on interactions, not just technology. Commercial, consumer, social and governmental institutions will all have to reshape to conform to the information tools on which we are coming to depend. InfoSphere Research Assoc. has been created to help stakeholders navigate these changes.
